Notes: June 2015 In Brief

It's been a whirlwind few months at The Project as we have worked to get the 2015 Justice For All Ball rolling.

From the kickoff luncheon, right up until this moment, 2015 JFAB Committee Chair Steve Lane of Herman, Herman & Katz and his committee, staff and Honorary Chair Gayle Benson and her Saints and Pelicans staff are working to create one of the more unusual and spectacular Justice For All Balls on record.

For those who have attended the Ball in the past, you can expect to find familiar aspects - great food and drinks, rocking music, lively entertainment along with the raffle and live/silent auctions. This year there's going to be a little more excitement as we stage our 27th Annual Ball on the field at the Saints Indoor Training Facility and our Patron Party on the court at the Pelicans Indoor Practice Facility

If you haven't come to the JFAB for a while or if you are still thinking about it - this is the year to put on your dancing shoes and come party with The Pro Bono Project. If this is your first time, then you're in for a special treat. There will be plenty of surprises and loads of fun and we hope you'll join us for this exciting event.

We want to thank Mrs. Benson and her team from the Saints and Pelicans for their generous support in working with us to make this an unforgettable evening for everyone.

Congratulations

Our heartfelt congratulations to former Board Chair and longtime supporter of The Project, Mark Cunningham of Jones Walker.

Mark was recently installed as the 75th President of the Louisiana State Bar Association.

We know he will do great things during his tenure and wish him the best of luck as he assumes this new role. Read the story: LSBA
