"Let's Dance!" at the 2019 Justice For All Ball

In the words of Zion Williamson, “Let’s Dance!”

And, dance we will at the 31st Annual Justice For All Ball on Friday, September 20th at Mardi Gras World’s Grand Oaks Mansion.  New Orleans has a lot to celebrate and The Pro Bono Project promises an amazing night of entertainment, food, and silent auction offerings planned for this year’s event.  We have partnered with Am Fund again to bring amazing once-in-a lifetime trips.  Music by The Bucktown All-Stars will keep everyone on the dance floor.  As in the past, we will have the best food and beverages from local restaurants and bars.   Our Patron Party will feature exclusive dishes from a few of New Orleans premier restaurants.

The Project’s 2019 Justice For All Ball Chair, Nadège Assalé, along with the Board of Directors and the Ball Committee, are pleased to announce that the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust and its Trustee Vincent J. Giardina have accepted their invitation to serve as the 2019 Honorary Chair.  Mr. Tolmas was a successful lawyer and entrepreneur who developed real estate throughout the New Orleans area.  A member of the Louisiana Bar Association for 70 years and graduate of Tulane University School of Law, Mr. Tolmas left the entirety of his estate when he passed in 2013 to a trust dedicated to helping other non-profit charities. Vincent Giardina is President and Trustee of the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust and works tirelessly to support our region’s under-served members.  Mr. Giardina is a CPA and graduate of the University of New Orleans.

“As honorary chair, I am thrilled to support an organization that is dedicated to helping children and families. Oscar was an entrepreneur and lawyer, who was keenly invested in creating opportunities for the region to prosper.  His legacy – the Oscar J. Tolmas Charitable Trust – is a testament to his belief that our community thrives when it comes together in mutual support.  The work of The Project and their mission to engage volunteers to provide pro bono services reflects the core principles of the Trust to help charitable organizations with their mission of helping others,” says Vincent Giardina.
